NTT Communications to launch wireless LAN services

TOKYO, Japan - NTT Communications Corp. said April 25 it will launch wireless LAN services enabling super-fast Internet access at fast-food restaurants, cafes and other public spaces on May 15. The new services, dubbed HOTSPOT, mark the first commercialization of wireless LAN by a major carrier. This photo was taken at an Internet cafe in Tokyo's Roppongi on April 25.
