Int'l team recreates state of universe after Big Bang

TOKYO, Japan - Photo offered by Brookhaven National Laboratory of the United States shows the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) accelerator. The Pioneering High Energy Nuclear Interacting Experiment (PHENIX), an international team of researchers and scientists, including some from Japan, has nearly succeeded in an experiment which recreates via the world's biggest particle accelerator the state of the universe in the immediate aftermath of the Big Bang.
