Koizumi tries out Japan's 1st electronic voting machine

TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi (R) tries out Japan's first electronic voting machine at his office on July 19. The machine brought in to the premier's office was used in voting in the mayoral and city assembly poll in Niimi, Okayama Prefecture, on June 23. Niimi Mayor Masao Ishigaki (C) showed Koizumi how to use the machine.
