Inamoto makes debut as Fulham near UEFA Cup place
LONDON, England - Japanese midfielder Junichi Inamoto makes his debut for Fulham on Aug. 1 when he came on as a second-half substitute in the English Premier League club's 1-0 home win over French side Sochaux in the Intertoto Cup semifinal, first leg. ''I didn't think I'd be given a full 45 minutes and it was a nice surprise to be allowed to show what I can do from set pieces,'' Inamoto said after the match. (Kyodo)
