Nagoya vendor blackmailed by importers over knockoff mufflers

NAGOYA, Japan - Koji Matsumoto, president of a Nagoya-based distributor of Burberry wool mufflers, tells a news conference in Nagoya on Sept. 7 that the wholesaler, Matsumoto, has received a blackmail threat and implicit demand for money from its importer because they are fakes. He said the wholesaler will file a complaint against the importer with police. (Kyodo)
