Thai elephants arrive at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo
TOKYO, Japan - A pair of young Asian elephants from Thailand's Surin Province arrived at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on Oct. 11 to celebrate the birth of Princess Aiko. On the right is a 5-year-old male called Artid, which means sun in Thai, and on the left a 4-year-old female Uthai, meaning sunrise. (Kyodo)
