PUSAN, South Korea - Kenichi Imai (L) pulls out an overtime win in the men's 60-kilogram kumite event Oct. 12 to give Japan its third gold medal of the karate competition at the Asian Games. Imai, who had come from two points down, scored quickly with a right thrust in overtime at Yangsan College Gymnasium to secure a 3-2 win over Hossein Rouhani of Iran and give Japan its only sparring gold medal in karate.
