Ferrotec Holdings (HD) will start mass production of 8-inch wafers at its new plant in Hangzhou, China by January to March 2020. The company plans to produce about 100,000 wafers per month. Hokuriku Electric Power's "Assist Arm" robot for power distribution work

Hokuriku Electric Power Company has completed the development of the "Assist Arm" (photo), a robot for power distribution work, and has begun deploying it.
