      TOKYO, Japan - Children of two Japanese couples are about to fly from Pyongyang's international airport to Japan in May 2004.         OSAKA, Japan - What looks like a drainage pipe-like system features a large keyhole-shaped tomb mound in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture. Tha Takatsuki education board said on Feb. 17 that the tomb, apparently built in the early 6th century, is believed to be the grave of an emperor, judging by the sophisticated method used to protect burial accessories. The drainage system that prevented water from building up in its chamber and damaging burial accessories, it said. (Kyodo)

          FUKUOKA, Japan - Ryoshichi Umezu, the 78-year-old father of a murder victim, Chika Matsumoto, expressed dissatisfaction in Fukuoka Prefecture on Jan. 24 after a Chinese court earlier in the day sentenced a Chinese man to death but spared the life of another after finding them guilty of the 2003 murders of a family of four in the Japanese prefecture. The two Chinese, formerly students in Japan, were sentenced for killing Chika, her husband and clothing dealer Shinjiro, their son Kai and daughter Hina. The second man was given a life term.
