OSHIMA, Japan - The 56,835-ton Hual Europe, a Bahamas-registered car carrier loaded with 3,885 motor vehicles, continues to burn on Izu-Oshima Island south of Tokyo on Nov. 26. The ship, which ran aground in October, caught fire on the morning of Nov. 26. Seen to the right is Habu port, the main gateway to the island. (Kyodo)
