'Chocolate' Beckham appears in central Tokyo
TOKYO, Japan - A chocolate statue of English soccer superstar David Beckham is encased in a building in Tokyo's central commercial district Shibuya on Dec. 17. The 3-meter-high sweet was produced by leading confectionery maker Meiji Seika Ltd. to mark Beckham's appearance in TV commercials for the company. Meiji Seika spent two and a half months making the statue using some several thousand tablets of chocolate. (Kyodo)
