Comic duo appointed to promote vacation campaign

TOKYO, Japan - Transport minister Chikage Ogi (R) names stand-up comic duo Daisuke (L) and Hanako (C) Miyagawa on Jan. 14 as ambassadors of a campaign to promote people taking time off for a relaxing vacation. The comedians, who are married to each other, were appointed to promote the idea that it is fun for couples and families to travel. (Kyodo)
