BOJ to maintain policy despite calls for further credit easing
TOKYO, Japan - Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Masaru Hayami speaks at a news conference Feb. 18. Hayami said the central bank will maintain its current ultra-easy monetary policy, fending off government pressure to further ease its monetary grip as part of efforts to shore up the economy. (Kyodo)
