Zenkoji temple exhibits copy of Buddhist image

NAGANO, Japan - Zenkoji, a famous Buddhist temple in the city of Nagano, puts a copy of its main Buddhist image on public display April 6. The event is held every seven years. The original image, ''Ikko Sanzon Amida Nyorai,'' is considered to be the first Buddhist image ever to enter Japan and has never been shown to the public. (Kyodo)
