S. Korean student makes pledge at high school baseball c'ship

KYOTO, Japan - Lee Ryang Gang, captain of the Kyoto Korean High School baseball team in Japan, makes the fair play pledge as athlete representative at the Kyoto preliminary games on July 12 for the summer national high school baseball championship. An official of the Japan High School Baseball Federation said, ''I believe this is the first time in Japan for a player with foreign nationality to make the pledge'' at the games. (Kyodo)
