New lantern installed at Tokyo's Sensoji Temple

TOKYO, Japan - A new lantern, a symbol of Tokyo's Asakusa district, is displayed at Sensoji Temple in an unveiling ceremony on Aug. 3. The lantern was replaced for the first time in 11 years to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Tokugawa shogunate in Edo, the former name of Tokyo. (Kyodo)
