TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi leaves the International Medical Center of Japan in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward on Sept. 3 after undergoing surgery to remove a benign polyp from his colon. Koizumi will rest and return to work on Sept. 4. (Kyodo)
