N. Korean ship prevented from leaving Okinawa due to defects

NAHA, Japan - The 1,499-ton North Korean freighter Rungrado remains anchored at Nakagusuku Bay port on eastern Okinawa Island on Oct. 3, although the ship was scheduled to leave the port Oct. 1. Authorities have prevented the vessel from leaving due to defects found during an inspection by the regional bureau of the Cabinet Office. (Kyodo)
