Sculptor Entsuba dies of heart failure at 97
TOKYO, Japan - Sculptor Katsuzo Entsuba (in file photo), a recipient of the Order of Culture, died of congestive heart failure at a hospital in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture on Oct. 31, his family said. He was 97. Entsuba is known for his works featuring the theme of peace, such as the ''Goddess of Peace'' in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, to commemorate student victims of the 1945 atomic bombing who had been conscripted to work at war-related factories during World War II.
