High court dismisses suit over discount sales of condos

TOKYO, Japan - Plaintiffs walk to the Tokyo High Court on Nov. 5 to hear a ruling on their appeal in a damages suit against the government-backed Urban Development Corp. The court upheld a lower court ruling that rejected the suit filed by condominium owners seeking compensation from the corporation because it had cut prices of units in the same condominium after they bought theirs.
