Teijin completes plant to produce recycled PET bottles

YAMAGUCHI, Japan - Teijin Ltd. said Nov. 19 it has completed the construction of a plant (photo) in Yamaguchi Prefecture designed to produce recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. This appears to be the first time in the world that a full recycle system has been created for PET bottles, Teijin officials said. (Kyodo)
