TOKYO, Japan - A man gets a new home-use electronics device called the PSX which Sony Corp. put on sale in Japan on Dec. 13. PSX that can function as both a PlayStation 2 game console and a DVD/HDD (hard disk drive) recorder is available in two models -- the DESR-7000 with a 250-gigabyte HDD for a suggested retail price of 99,800 yen, and the DESR-5000 with a 160-gigabyte HDD for a suggested price of 79,800 yen. Daihatsu to stop all vehicle shipments over improper safety testing

TOKYO, Dec. 20 Kyodo - Daihatsu Motor Co. said Wednesday it will stop all shipments at home and abroad after the Toyota Motor Corp. subsidiary found most of its car models were affected by improper vehicle safety tests. The move comes after the minivehicle maker acknowledged earlier this year data-rigging in collision tests for six of its models, including those sold in Thailand and Malaysia.
