Sony robot Qrio becomes 'voice actor' in animation series

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. invites the press to a session Jan. 15 in which its two-legged, walking robot Qrio records the dialogue for its ''appearance'' in the Japanese television animation series Astro Boy. It is the first time that a robot has become a voice actor, a Sony official said. (Kyodo)
