2,600 people take part in arrow shooting event in Kyoto
KYOTO, Japan - Women, clad in traditional Japanese kimono and skirt, prepare to release arrows at Sanjusangendo temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama Ward on Jan. 18. Some 2,600 people took part in the traditional event, in which they try to shoot a target 1 meter in diameter and 60 meters away. (Kyodo)
