Japan's largest police-run detention facility completed
TOKYO, Japan - Japan's largest police-operated detention facility (in photo) with a capacity for 120 people has been completed in Tokyo's Shinagawa Ward and was shown to the press on March 24. The two-story facility, built on the grounds of the Samezu Drivers License Center at a cost of some 660 million yen, has total floor space of around 2,400 square meters. (Kyodo)
