Mitsubishi Fuso admits accident prompted cover-up

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp. President and Chief Executive Officer Wilfried Porth (L) admitted May 20 that its ''corporate culture'' of concealing defects grew out of a fatal accident in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2002 as it apologized to the family of a driver killed in the accident, caused by a clutch housing failure.
