Tour debutante Asama takes top spot at Kosaido 1st round

ICHIHARA, Japan - Second-year pro Ikue Asama watches her iron shot during the first round of the Kosaido Ladies at Chiba Kosaido Country Club on May 28. She carded six birdies against a lone bogey to take sole possession of the first-round lead at 5-under-par 67 in her tour debut. (Kyodo)
