SHIZUOKA, Japan - Mohamad Haytham Saleh, a 10-year-old Iraqi boy, arrives at a hospital in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture, on June 5 to undergo a medical check on his injured left eye. ''We think we can recover his eyesight through surgery,'' a doctor said at a news conference and suggested that the boy undergo surgery as early as mid-June. (Kyodo)
