Aeon to resume business with Sharp

TOKYO, Japan - Aeon Co. executive Kunihiko Hisaki (front) tells reporters in Tokyo on June 11 the company has decided to resume business with Sharp Corp., the day after the major retailer announced it would suspend transactions with the electronics firm in protest at Sharp's filing a lawsuit to seek a ban on sales of Taiwanese liquid crystal display televisions, which the company claims violate Sharp patents. The TVs are sold by Aeon. (Kyodo)
