(2)Court releases 2 defendants over political donation scandal
TOKYO, Japan - Sadao Usuda, who formerly headed the Japan Dental Association, leaves the Tokyo Detention House in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward on Sept. 27 after being released on bail of 20 million yen. Usuda was indicted on charges of violating the Political Funds Control Law in connection with donations to a Liberal Democratic Party faction, formerly led by former Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto.
