Shinkawa Electric's vibration monitoring sensor "Zerk X8

The connected sensors acquire analog data such as temperature, pressure, water level and flow rate as well as vibration. The data is sent via wireless LAN to an antenna several dozen meters away. The data is collected in the "Machine Dossier" cloud system. The data is displayed in an easy-to-understand manner using graphs and other data. Amazon's Amazon Web Services (AWS) is used as the system infrastructure. The data can be easily viewed on smartphones and other devices. The annual fee for using the system is 48,000 yen (excluding consumption tax) for each eight-point sensor. SEC of America (North Carolina), a wholly owned subsidiary in the U.S., develops and produces the system. Shinkawa Sensor Technology (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo), a subsidiary in Japan, will develop and produce higher-specification non-contact vibration sensors. Air Water's 8K surgical video imaging system "Micro 8

Air Water will launch the 8K surgical video microscope system "Micro 8 = Photo" on September 2nd. The system visualizes objects one-tenth the size of a hair, and can be used in surgeries such as stitching together micro blood vessels and lymph vessels. Lenses with different focal lengths can be exchanged according to the surgical technique, enabling fine surgical operations. The selling price starts at 65 million yen. The company expects to sell 100 units (including rentals) in the next three years. This product is combined with a 70-inch 8K large monitor to ensure 300x magnification and a wide field of view. HIGHTECH SEIKO's newly installed vacuum furnace.

Hitec Seiko (Hanamigawa-ku, Chiba City) has introduced a new type of vacuum heat treatment furnace. The new furnace reduces the processing time to about 10 hours, 30% less than the previous model. By increasing the utilization rate and providing more space in the furnace, the company aims to stabilize the quality. We will increase the sales of the heat treatment business to 270 million yen in the fiscal year ending March 2020, up 12.5% from the previous fiscal year. The company has newly introduced the PQ-65 pressure-cooled horizontal vacuum furnace manufactured by IHI Mechanical Systems (Koto-ku, Tokyo), with a view to entering the aerospace field in the future. The maximum processing capacity of the vacuum furnace is 400 kilograms, which is the same as the conventional furnace, but the processing time can be reduced from 15 hours with the conventional furnace. Commemorative coins

TOKYO, Japan - Combination photo shows both sides of a commemorative 10,000-yen coin to be issued to support efforts to rebuild areas hit by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Japan on Feb. 21, 2012, announced a plan to issue 1,000-yen and 10,000-yen commemorative coins.
