Niida defends WBA title with decision over Landaeta

TOKYO, Japan - WBA minimumweight champion Yutaka Niida of Japan throws a left-hand punch to interim champion Juan Landaeta of Venezuela in the eleventh round of their match at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan on Oct. 30. Niida won by a slim 2-1 margin to successfully defend his title for the first time in a unification title bout. (Kyodo)
