Japan Telecom succeeds with broadband test on moving train

TOKYO, Japan - Japan Telecom Co. said Nov. 16 it has succeeded in an experiment for broadband communications on a train traveling at high speed. The technology, which could be put to practical use within one or two years, would enable connection to the Internet while consumers are using fast-moving public transport, the telecom carrier said.
