Sanrio to get 20 bil. yen aid from Tokyo-M'bishi, 4 others
TOKYO, Japan - Sanrio Co. President Shintaro Tsuji (R) tells a press conference in Tokyo on Nov. 18 that the company will issue about 20 billion yen worth of new shares to the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and other firms to prop up its capital base, which has been undermined by an expected 21.9 billion yen extraordinary loss on its theme park facilities in the first half of fiscal 2004.
