Ex-Social Insurance Agency chief found guilty of taking bribes
TOKYO, Japan - Takeshi Shimomura, a former Social Insurance Agency chief, enters the Tokyo District Court on Dec. 2. He was sentenced to two years and six months in prison, suspended for five years, for receiving bribes from a dentist association while serving on a government advisory panel. (Kyodo)
