Japan police to start operating DNA database

TOKYO, Japan - A National Police Agency official accesses the agency's DNA database that stores biological evidence left by unknown suspects at scenes of unsolved crimes. The NPA will make the database available across Japan on Dec. 17. (Kyodo)
