Nissan logs record group profit, sales volume in FY 2004

TOKYO, Japan - Nissan Motor Co. President Carlos Ghosn speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on April 25. The company said its group net profit rose 1.7 percent to a record 512.28 billion yen in the business year to March 31, as buoyant U.S. sales helped bolster global sales to a record 3.39 million units.
