Sharp to market world's largest liquid-crystal display TV
OSAKA, Japan - Sharp Corp. unveils the new model of its AQUOS series liquid-crystal display (LCD) TV at a hotel in Osaka on June 3. The LC-65GE1 AQUOS 65V-Inch Digital High-Definition LCD TV, which the company claims is the world's largest LCD model, will go on sale in Japan on Aug. 1 with a price tag of 1.68 million yen. (Kyodo)
