Saury fishing in northern Japan

Photo taken on Aug. 26, 2020, shows saury fish on sale at a fishmonger in Nemuro on the northernmost Japanese main island of Hokkaido with a price tag of 350 yen each, much more expensive than last year. The catch of saury has been underwhelming at Hanasaki port in the city, known as having the largest hauls of saury in Japan, since the fishing season started in the region in July.
