NEW YORK, United States - Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura (L) and U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan (R) are in talks at the U.N. Headquarters on July 27. Machimura is in New York to lobby for a resolution Japan has jointly crafted with Brazil, Germany and India under the Group of Four framework to expand the U.N.
