Takashima recalls Japanese deaths in Iraq most regrettable
TOKYO, Japan - Former Foreign Ministry spokesman Hatsuhisa Takashima speaks at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry on Aug. 2. Takashima, who quit and will help the ministry's public relations as an adviser, said it was ''most regrettable'' during his tenure since 2002 to see Japanese nationals, including diplomats, murdered in Iraq.
