Japan confirms China pumps gas or oil in E. China Sea
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force on Sept. 19 shows a drilling platform in the Tianwaitian field developed by a Chinese consortium in the East China Sea. Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Shoichi Nakagawa told a press conference on Sept. 20 that Japan has confirmed China has been pumping either oil or natural gas near disputed waters in the sea.
