Veteran cartoonist Kato dies at 80

TOKYO, Japan - Veteran cartoonist Yoshiro Kato (file photo), known for the newspaper strips he drew for decades portraying ordinary people's lives with satire, died of respiratory failure on Jan. 6, family members said Jan. 16. He was 80.
