Java sparrows can become able to distinguish languages: scientis
TOKYO, Japan - Photo provided by Keio University Prof. Shigeru Watanabe shows a Java sparrow that has been trained to distinguish spoken Chinese and English languages. It marks the first time for ability to recognize differences of spoken languages to be found among animals other than some mammals, said biological psychologist Watanabe, who heads a group of scientists.
