Astronauts practice operating space laboratory at Tsukuba
TSUKUBA, Japan - Japanese astronauts Akihiko Hoshide (L) and Satoshi Furukawa speak at a press conference at Tsukuba Space Center in Ibaraki Prefecture on Feb. 28 after practicing using the functions of Japan's first manned space laboratory called Kibo, which is scheduled to become part of the International Space Station, in simulation training at the center.
