Diet panel to summon journalist over fake e-mail

TOKYO, Japan - The Japanese House of Representatives Disciplinary Committee decided on March 29 to summon freelance journalist Takashi Nishizawa as a sworn witness on April 4 over a fake e-mail that lawmaker Hisayasu Nagata used to make accusations of a payoff against a senior governing coalition lawmaker.
