Japan's farm minister disappointed by failed WTO talks
GENEVA, Switzerland - Japan's Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Shoichi Nakagawa (L) expresses disappointment at the failure to break a deadlock in global free trade negotiations under the World Trade Organization at a press conference he gave in Geneva on July 1 with Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Toshihiro Nikai (R). ''It is regrettable that our discussions couldn't get to the point where we play our aces. I have to admit I'm returning to Japan without a sense of satisfaction,'' he said after a ministerial meeting. (Kyodo)
