          SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean legend Sohn Kee Chung (file photo), who won gold in the men's marathon running for Japan in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, died of respiratory failure in a Seoul hospital Nov. 15 after a long illness. He was 90. Under the Japanese colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula between 1910 and 1945, Sohn, entered under the Japanese name Kitei Son, became a hero in his native country after winning the gold medal.
