Japan's solar observation satellite 'Hinode' goes into orbit

KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Japan successfully launched the M-5 solid-fuel rocket carrying a solar observation satellite, nicknamed ''Hinode,'' from the Uchinoura Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture on Sept. 23, the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency said. (Kyodo)
