Panamanian-registered freighter Giant Step runs aground off Ibar

TOKYO, Japan - The body of the Panamanian-registered 98,587-ton freighter Giant Step is seen broken into two pieces off Ibaraki Prefecture on Oct. 7 after it ran aground the previous day. Among 26 Indian and Sri Lankan crew members on board the ship, nine still remain unaccounted for. (Kyodo)
